Cheliyan retired from the army as he no longer consented to be part of the brutality they are carrying out. All he wanted was to live with his family and possibly move out of the island so that they could live in peace.

 

But, war is an antonym for peace! Breaking Cheliyan’s dreams, it forces him to tread a new path. The man with nothing to lose is suddenly forced to live for the sake of a young boy Arjun who trusts him. The boy believes that he could lead him to safety.

 

Along the path, a girl named Athula joins the duo and it’s going to be an impossible mission to escape the cruel clutches of the army men. They are armed, trained and are with the sole motify to kill survivors or imprison them.

 

Can Cheliyan lead him to the shores? Can he overcome the emotions he has developed towards Athula? Can they escape from tear island?
