"Caging Honour: Breaking the Chains of Silence" stands as a pivotal novel in the realms of social justice, cultural conflict, and the harrowing realities of honour killing, masterfully weaving together the complexities of multicultural drama with the profound depth of social justice themes. This groundbreaking narrative is not just a piece of literature but a clarion call to challenge entrenched societal norms and ignite critical discourse on justice, equality, and freedom in a world often shackled by oppressive honour codes and the silencing of dissenting voices.

Eleanor, a tenacious legal advocate, emerges as a dynamic female lead, tirelessly fighting for the rights of those marginalized by the brutal practices of honour killings and embodying the essence of humanitarian literature. Layla, a passionate grassroots activist, and Farida, an astute intellectual, delve into the transformative power of activism and dialogue to address and challenge the cultural underpinnings of honour-related violence.

Nadia and Arif's journeys of struggle and redemption offer a poignant reflection on the universal theme of coming of age, set against the stark backdrop of societies where honour killings remain a grim reality. Their stories resonate with readers across diverse backgrounds, providing a window into the lives affected by this form of systemic discrimination.

Set against a dystopian backdrop that mirrors too many real-world settings, "Caging Honour" offers a profound exploration of the oppressive nature of rigid honour codes, delving deep into the tragedy of honour killings with sensitivity and insight. It acts as a catalyst for change, inviting readers to partake in an emotionally charged and intellectually provocative journey. This novel is a testament to the enduring quest for fairness and dignity, marking it as an essential read for those captivated by stories of resilience and resistance against the horrors of honour killings and social injustices.

It is an indispensable resource for activists, scholars, or anyone keen on delving into the complexities of honour killings, social justice, and societal transformation, providing a compelling tapestry of stories and insights that linger long after the final page is turned.

In essence, "Caging Honour" mirrors the diverse soul of our global society, confronting the chilling reality of honour killings with courage and compassion. It not only entertains but enlightens and inspires a deeper understanding of the world, inviting every reader to a realm where empathy and understanding orchestrate a symphony of change for a more equitable and gentle world.

This work is dedicated to the humans that are tired of being used as slaves. The Roman Empire did not fall. They just changed the name to the Roman Church.

This text contains material that you cannot unread. Your thinking process will be permanently altered. Consider yourself warned. This text will release you from the Matrix and there is no way to get back inside. This is your final warning - DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!

In 1946, a massive cache of ancient manuscripts were found in caves near the dead sea. These became known as the “Dead Sea Scrolls”. I have studied various forms of this material for the past 15 years. I have examined historical documents, religious texts as well as countless historical facts. These texts have led me to a number of obvious realizations. There are texts known as forbidden knowledge in most cultures. Most have been burned. If you explore them, you will find that they all lead to extraterrestrial origins.

Recent research has revealed that humans are composed of between 1% and 4% of the Neanderthal’s DNA. The part that was not mentioned was that there are humans with 0% Neanderthal DNA in them. This is the Roman race. (The other 96%)

These “pureblood” humanoids are the off-worlders who came to Earth and created earthling humans through genetic manipulation. The Romans mixed their DNA with Neanderthals to create a race of workers to satisfy their labor needs.

In anthropological circles, they would be called “the missing link”. You can find them in our historical records as “Ancient Romans and Greeks”. They appeared out of nowhere, enacted biblical scale changes to humanity, and then disappeared as mysteriously as they came.

Thoughtfully and critically consider the facts, they actually make far more logical sense than the stories you have been indoctrinated to believe.

History is written and rewritten by the victor. The Romans have erased and revised history to suit their agenda. They continue this practice even today as books and monuments are removed. Free discourse is censored and self anointed ultra biased fact checkers have appeared on the scene to employ psychological warfare upon the masses. Political foes are imprisoned. The Inclusive Bible is the latest Bible translation where the writers have removed male pronouns and sexism.

Facts should remain facts and not subject to subverting by whoever is in power at the time. A fact never changes. Religion and history are not subjects to be modified and rewritten at the whims of a new leader.

The ancient cuneiform tablets have clearly detailed that an extraterrestrial lifeform came to Earth and genetically modified the Neanderthals to produce the human race. They made themselves known to us as Gods. Since they were our creators, it is a fair assertion. (Our Father who art in heaven. God created man in his own image - sound familiar?)

Ancient Rome is EXACTLY what it looks like when a highly advanced space-faring race frontiers a new planet. The Roman race brought all of the various disciplines of a complex civilization with them. They did not invent anything (except humans).

Hollywood and Broadway are icons of the American Dream. But what happens to those who feed off that dream? Just as drug cartels have many underlings, who must get paid along the journey to the addicts, so do the characters who need to be nourished by the luminaries who make up this star-studded world above us. James Musgrave’s collection of eleven stories, in many ways, addresses the theme of “star power,” but in a way that satirizes the stereotypical “Hollywood endings” in very unique and literary ways. This collection has a remedy for the past year’s traumas caused by a worldwide pandemic.

Award-winning short fiction author, Jacob M. Appel says, "With the publication of Valley of the Dogs, Jim Musgrave joins the ranks of George Saunders, Steven Millhauser, and Kevin Brockmeier at the heart of the modern American short story's second great renaissance."

"Entering the consciousness of a reader is the most sacred enterprise an author can have. These stories have been collected as my Zen reflection during the past year’s COVID-19 plague. This shamanistic mental state, which the Japanese term “Mushin,” or “no-mind” is close to the stream-of-consciousness technique that Henry James, Virginia Woolf, Jack Kerouac, James Joyce, and William Faulkner used to such success. However, it is also a form of channeling that defies definition. This is the mystical realm that creatives around the world know so well, and we worship at its altar every day we put fingers to keys or pen to paper. I want to thank readers who enjoy dark stories, as in this age of political correctness and what publishers often term “accessibility,” it is becoming more difficult for us authors, especially us authors who don’t make a lot of money from our work, to find an audience. I will go out on a limb and say that if the author does make a lot of money from a dark story, he/she will get marketing to back him/her up to ride the tide of money to the bank. If you ride this wave of Gustav and all the other characters in my collection, then thanks for that. It’s been a tough year for all of us. Bless you." --James Musgrave

“If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.”
― Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

"Superbly dark and un-put-down-able. This was a new type of work from the author, and I really felt drawn to his compilation of eleven dark stories. Each story is so engrossing, it brings you right in the middle of the story. This collection is more than just words on a page. It is a very well-written story, and I enjoyed it." Amazon.com

"For a writer, getting inside the reader’s mind is the holy grail of the craft. In Valley of the Dogs, a collection of eleven dark short stories, author Jim Musgrave has invaded most of our minds and left an impression that will linger long after we close the book and stick it on our ‘to be read again someday’ shelf. If you’re looking for a good book to curl up with when the wind’s blowing outside and the sky is gunmetal gray and depressing, this is what I would prescribe." Amazon.com

" Wow! Great stories, definitely dark, but also great! I enjoyed all of these stories, but some of them hit you hard, very hard. The writer is very skilled at his craft, and I can't wait to read more stories out of his wonderful imagination." Amazon.com

This vivid novel offers much entertainment and excitement throughout its telling of various adventures. Although the main character's motives are presented, only small portions of the story involve his attempted redemption, leaving room for resolution in a subsequent sequel. Creating a more obvious through line that better connects all of the characters and their actions will improve the overall narrative while the multitude of subplots offer the creative material necessary to build a compelling series.

Having no former knowledge of The Count of Monte Cristo hinders the reader's understanding of the protagonist's current situation, but additional sequels provide a format that allows room for necessary background information to be provided. Dantes' character is undoubtedly flawed, a huge asset in terms of presenting a relatable protagonist. Offering further insight into his past will allow audiences to better understand his former behaviors and appreciate the lengths to which he will go to try to remedy his wrongdoings.

How does one describe a feeling? Some say there are no words that can perfectly reproduce one’s feelings in another—but poetry comes close.

Written with incredible honesty and self-knowledge, Between the Lines is a stunning collection of poems from Céline Zabad. Ranging in length from a single line to full pages, her poems mimic at once the brevity and vastness of feeling. Her verse is at times as free as a cloud, other times as solid as stone. J. Autherine’s inaugural collection of poems and inspiration is a love offering to strong, vulnerable, badass women who lead with their hearts, love deeply and sometimes fall hard.

Wild Heart, Peaceful Soul is a deep, gritty, raw look at the thrill of loving unconditionally, as well as the mental and physical toll that it takes when peace and harmony are lost in the process. The author draws inspirations from her own journey spanning 30 years, and also dives deeply into the vulnerable hearts of women globally, including her experience growing up in Jamaica. She captures the pain and struggle of women who love deeply and pour into others without first filling their own jars. A reoccurring theme is reclaiming your heart in order to live and love harmoniously.
Chapter 1, Wild Heart, takes the reader on a journey of self discovery — being an empath in a sometimes harsh world, feeling broken after losing love, not feeling good enough to be loved, facing rejection and abandonment, and navigating life with a heart that just wants to love unconditionally.
The second chapter, Peaceful Soul, is an empowering meditation on the peace that comes with reclaiming your heart — finding strength in the love and support of sister friends, practicing self-love while responsibly loving others, and finding joy in loving those that are worthy of our love.

Wild Heart, Peaceful Soul is a patchwork of vulnerability, truth and empowerment for everyone who loves deeply.

How are you?
This is the question that for most of us will remain unanswered by the simple utterance of "I'm fine".

This book is a testament to the inner lives that we all lead and how we are all colored in by so much more than what is socially acceptable or even helpful to talk about to most people. It is my most sincere hope that the experiences realized in this book resonate with the longing to more honestly answer this question and help to soothe those who are in need of love, compassion, or commiseration.
Although the content of this book is set to follow the Mire family, a fictional family trying to confront this very issue, it is my hope that the author's own personal experiences -- the one's that engender these themes will serve to satisfy the reader and clearly illustrate the importance of why we all need people to talk to -- people who will listen and understand.

This book is meant to say and share the things I always wanted to say when, wearing the weight of my smile, I said, "I'm fine".

The Sacred Well is a fable set in modern day Sardinia. A metaphor of everyday life which emphasizes the importance of having faith in others.
Shy and stuttering 12 year-old Andrew encounters the population of gnomes who live inside the ancient stone structures called Nuraghe which are dotted here and there all over the island.
Under the guidance of their supreme mother, who they call Jana Suprema, the gnomes have the duty of protecting the secrets and treasures which can be found hidden inside each Nuraghe.
On the eleventh moon of each year they set off on a quest to find the chosen sacred water which will restore their magical powers, without this water they will be overpowered and killed by their age-old enemies called the Red Spirits. Clayton’s biggest fear becomes his realty. He sees his culture fading like autumn leaves falling to the earth with no hope of rejuvenating itself like it does when spring arrives and everything starts its journey all over again.

Elizabeth, Clayton’s daughter and mother of Jonathon and Richard, is married to Sakarja Skovdahl, who drinks a lot and frequently beats her. She eventually leaves him and moves in with her parents. Clayton takes on the father role for the boys by teaching them how to fish, speak Tlingit, and sing and dance.

When Jonathon goes off to school, Clayton is proud because he knows an education will prove beneficial in addition to his time-honored teachings. Little does he know Jonathan will be punished for speaking the native tongue. When Jonathon returns for the summer to help his grandfather at fish camp, Clayton is surprised when Jonathan no longer has a desire to speak his own language. After explicit orders from his grandfather not to use the motors for fishing, Jonathon uses them anyway.

Cedric Moore moves to Dry Bay looking for work. He fights inner demons that haunt him because of his war experiences. Despite his inner battles, Cedric does good deeds and he likes the Tlingit culture and people. After helping one of her sons, he forms a relationship with Elizabeth, who he passionately loves

A Cobbler’s Tale is an adventure story about Pincus Potasznik, a second-generation Jewish cobbler, born in a small shtetl in the province of Galicia, part of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.

In 1910, at the historic height of the massive Eastern European immigration wave to the New World, Pincus decides to leave behind his pregnant wife, and three small children, in order to seek a new life for his family in the burgeoning Lower East Side of Manhattan. On his traumatic voyage across the Atlantic Ocean on the SS Amerika steamship, Pincus meets Jakob Adler, a young man running from an accidental murder of a notorious crime boss in Warsaw.

The story also explores the challenges of pregnant Clara Potasznik as she does her best to protect her family, while the bloodiest battles of World War I explode within miles of her family home, a small village called Krzywcza. Moshe, the young son of Pincus and Clara Potasznik, discovers his divine ability to foretell dire events, and to offer real comfort those in pain, taking the reader into the wisdom and mystery surrounding the ancient Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah.

The African Piper of Harlem involves a family of Nigerian descent and how they deal with living in Harlem, New York.

Her penetrating yet gentle critique enables all readers, regardless of their background or experience, to empathize with her characters and the trials they face. An absorbing read and excellent way to spend an afternoon!" amazon.com

Neither fish nor fowl, every immigrant threads the needle between being one of "us" versus one of "them." The plot is both a fantasy and an exercise in exploring ways in which recent African immigrants and African-Americans recognize and embrace each other's cultural differences.

In Harlem, the mecca of black America, immigrants of every complexion live side by side with the descendants of slaves. The story begins with a description of how bullies belittle the twins, Bilal and Nawaal, who are of Nigerian descent. Grandpa Abram and their mother, Ola, do not know how to help the children.

Out of nowhere, a mysterious figure, Abekepi appears, and this fantastic piper offers to rid the neighborhood of bullies for a crazy reward. What follows is an intriguing, and sometimes unsettling, weaving of social themes, in which a supernatural being intervenes to turn the struggles of a single mother and her twins into triumph.

"A must read history book. Following a very strong thesis that taxation is the motivator in the development of the nation state Tony Milne blows a lot of cherished ideas of English ( and British ) history out of the water." amazon.com

With Brexit, the Scottish referendum, and the threat to the Irish Peace Agreement if the open borders arrangement ends, England risks returning to its origins as a single-country state, which it was for 500 years from 1066 until 1603.
By quitting Europe, Britain risks losing Scotland, Ulster and maybe even Wales, and returning to the kingdom of England, the state it was from 1066 to 1603. It was a time of Great Men, and Glorious Battles, and Significant Dates like that of 1415, Agincourt, where the English army led by Henry V destroyed the French knights
The truth is that the English king ordered the mass murder of valuable French prisoners who had given their parole, lost his crown and treasure chest to crafty French peasants, and left his army unpaid to starve to death in Calais while he fled home bankrupt and humiliated, he did nothing for the next three years.
But the Myth of England is much more than this. From 1066 to 1603, England's history has been corrupted for political purposes by tax-collectors, foreign invaders and religious maniacs. England was a rich and pleasant land only when it was closely tied by trade to Europe, and at no time worse off than when its leaders went to war with its neighbors, except when these came to conquer and oppress its citizens, and could do so because the economy was weak.

The final book of Martin Tessmer's ground-breaking saga about the rise and fall of Scipio Africanus, one of history's greatest generals. In Scipio's End, the author weaves the words and events of the ancient Republican period into a stunning story of Scipio Africanus' final years of glory and triumph.

The year is 194 BCE. As he heads into his fiftieth year, Scipio is now become the First Man of Rome, the most powerful citizen of the powerful Roman Republic. Though he is weary from decades of military and political wars, Scipio cannot rest. The northern Gauls have cornered the army of his fellow consul, who begs for Scipio to rescue him. Far to the west, the Army of a Hundred Nations masses to attack Rome's Grecian allies, led by the ruthless Syrian king Antiochus III and his brilliant military advisor, Hannibal the Great. As Greece falls before them, the two conquerors turn their eyes towards Italia. Only Scipio stands between them and the dissolution of the nascent Roman empire.

Scipio's End is a tale of loves lost, friendships betrayed, the corruption of the incorruptible, and the triumph of honor and genius over insurmountable obstacles. Written in the historical present writing style, Scipio's End gives you the feeling that you are there in ancient Rome, witnessing history as it unfolds before your eyes.
