A boy accidentally acquires a witch’s blue nails and the 400-year-old witch finally awakens. Extraordinary battles with the witch take place to recover the nails, statues dance every night and children wake up in the dark alleys of Florence.

 

In Montalcino, Italy, a town famous for the wine called the "Jewel of Tuscany," there is a legend of a witch who died with a stone in her mouth during the Black Plague of the Middle Ages in 1592. Lucio's father, Marco, works for Giacomo, the town’s wealthiest man and the owner of a vineyard. Marco, however, is wrongfully robbed of the wine he was going to enter in a competition. To retrieve it, Lucio and his sister Paola go to Giacomo's house but are chased away, ending up in the forbidden witch's forest. In that forest, Lucio acquires a witch’s blue nails, and finally, the witch from 400 years ago wakes up to recover the nails.

 

Led by the witch who wakes up in a museum, Paola disappears on a golden carriage. Lucio and his friend Antonio embark on an adventure to find his sister. Due to the witch's curse, strange things keep happening in Florence, and people believe it's because they dug up the witch's remains. When Lucio and his friends are lured into the world of the witch, a new realm of fantasy unfolds.

 

Enveloped in an eerie atmosphere, the witch's castle and bizarre creatures appear. Statues and sunflowers transform into humans, and dance competitions are held every night. And Lucio, who loses the witch's nails, faces one painstaking event after another to retrieve the nails.
